Can’t quite touch the ground? It is possible to lower a motorcycle slightly, so that at a stop a shorter rider can comfortably reach the ground with both feet. We are not referring to turning your bike into an unridable toy; we're referring to riders who still want to experience the cornering fun that a current motorcycle can provide. While there are some disadvantages to lowering the suspension, it does give shorter riders the opportunity to ride motorcycles that are ordinarily out of their reach. On a typical sports bike we can lower front and rear by a maxium of 35mm while still retaining good bump absorbsion and roadholding. Most MX and off road bikes can be lowered up to 60mm, while in some extreme cases we go up to 100mm. Call us for a quote.
Our licensed workshop is equipped to carry out any suspension servicing and modifications. Our fully trained and qualified technicians will look after your suspension as if it’s their own. We can rebuild sealed unit shock absorbers usually for a fraction of the cost of replacement, our in house machining centre makes light work of custom parts for special jobs. We also have an engine and general service department, so while your motorcycle is here for suspension work we can carry out service work such as brake pads, valve adjustments and top end rebuilds.
Teknik Fork and Shock Springs are proven winners, and are tougher, more durable, more reliable & more responsive than standard fork or shock springs. Our springs can cope with anything your bike can dish out, which we back with our Lifetime Warranty. Not only that, but we carry Australia's largest range of both fork and shock springs, so we definately have an affordable spring waiting for your bike.

We started out trying to change the specification of the standard internals (re-valving) many years ago, but you get a limited result if the original piston and valve design is a compromised design for reasons of cost and mass production. So a few years ago we started to look at other designs from some of the factory Forks and Shocks we see, and the "no compromise" approach, and began designing parts for stock suspension that overcame the cheap designs and quality control problems. We are able to use different internal parts for different applications and rider types, and that’s where we have been able to make huge impacts on a rider's feel, confidence and speed. We do all the CAD design in house and use our sponsored riders to test the products. Then we test the products on our shock dyno and make sure we are getting the right results. A lot of our customers complain about the harsh feeling they get from stock forks and the resulting arm pump. That is one of the main areas the kits address. We are always looking to lessen rider fatigue and increase mechanical grip.
